Heritage Acres sits on 40 acres of rolling piedmont outside Fort Mill. The farm has been in the family since 2012, converted from conventional row crops to diversified pasture-based production over three years.
What We Raise
- Pastured poultry — laying hens on rotating pasture, seasonal meat birds
- Heritage pork — Berkshire-Duroc crosses raised on pasture and forest, no confinement
- Seasonal vegetables — two acres of intensive production, spring through fall
- Raw honey — twelve hives, wildflower and sourwood varieties
How We Work
Everything here runs on a closed loop. Chickens follow cattle through pasture rotation. Pigs clear wooded sections slated for future garden beds. Compost from the barns feeds the vegetable fields. We buy very little off-farm.
Community
We supply three local buying clubs, run a 20-week CSA, and keep a farm stand open every Saturday morning. If you’re local and want to learn, we host work days monthly — come move chickens, help harvest, or just walk the land.

Reviews
We split a half hog with another family and the quality was outstanding. Real pork flavor — nothing like what you get at the grocery store. They walked us through all the cuts and how to store everything. Will absolutely do this again next year.
Best eggs in the area, hands down. The yolks are bright orange and the shells are thick. We've been picking up every Saturday for six months now and have never been disappointed. The farm stand is well organized and the family is always friendly.
